For the first time, the Swiss Startup DAYs will be a full two days event to be held on 24 and 25 October in Bern. And the event will include several innovations. Registration is now open.
The last edition of the Swiss Startup Days hosted over 700 participants. A continuous growth of the attending participants is proving the increasing value of the event. This year, Swiss Startup Invest will extend the 14th edition of the Swiss Startup Days to a two full-days event for the first time.
At the first day of the event, Experts and Startup Champions will bring unique, valuable support to participating start-ups. Ten Best Practice sessions will be offered by top-experts covering topics from due diligence, termsheets or incentive plans to exit strategies and IPOs.
Thereafter, start-ups will get the opportunity to meet the experts, investors and start-up champions on three panels to ask the questions they always wanted to ask.
To close the day, start-ups can book 1:1 meetings to benefit from dedicated feedback and input from experts and start-up champions in a speed dating mode.
Finally, in the evening and for the first time, the Startup Night, organized by the ETH Entrepreneurs Club, will take place. All participants attending the first day are welcome to join the evening, where an interesting program, good music and great networking will play a major role.
At the same time, the traditional investor dinner will be hosting approx. 200 investors and supporters. Swiss Startup Invest is honoured to announce that this year the venture leaders ceremony 2017 will be held during the dinner. The dinner is by invitation only.
Investors and start-ups in focus on the second day
The second day will start with the traditional investors on stage session, where all participants will learn from and vote for the best investor pitch.
Thereafter 60 pre-selected start-ups will pitch to the investors on three stages, fighting for a spot in the final by the investor jury members.
In the afternoon a number of interesting keynotes will be given, right before 1’000 1:1 meetings between start-ups and investors are hosted at the 100 tables installed for it.
Before the closing, the final battle will see the six best start-ups pitching for the public recognition and vote to win interesting prizes.
To close the event, the new Musketeer Awards will be handed over to persons and their organizations that contributed to the positive development of the Swiss start-up ecosystem. The final selection of the three Musketeers will be performed by a public voting ahead and during the event.
