Red Herring has released the 2016 shortlist of technology companies qualifying for the Red Herring Top 100 Europe Award. The shortlist comprises of 270 companies including 16 Swiss startups.
The Red Herring Top 100 Europe Award is given out yearly to the 100 most innovative and promising technology companies in Europe. The award is a mark of distinction for identifying promising new companies and entrepreneurs. This year, 16 Swiss startups filled varied positions on Top 100 Europe shortlist.

Next week Red Herring will bring together 250 C-level technology entrepreneurs, corporate strategists, and venture financiers from across the continent. Participants will explore the market’s appreciation of innovation as a fast-track to success, and how firms from the region are leading the charge in many tech sectors. Also speakers will discuss the drivers for successful entrepreneurship and will demonstrate how innovation is creating business opportunities for challengers and incumbents alike.
