venture 2014: second phase on the horizon

Since the first venture business plan competition in 1998, hundreds of founders have learned how to structure their company and develop a sophisticated business concept. Participants also receive strong support when it comes to contact with future business partners and investors. The competition is held every two years and is run by ETH Zurich and Knecht Holding through the venture foundation, with significant support from the Commission for Technology & Innovation CTI.

Take advantage of the expertise of more than 150 experienced entrepreneurs, managers, venture capitalists and professors – winners will receive prizes worth a total of CHF150,000. The deadline for the awards for the best business idea is 1 December.

But the competition is not over with the awards for the best business idea; the second phase is again open to all individuals and teams who have a clever business idea and want to start a business. venture 2014 provides knowledge seminars and workshops throughout the winter, and participants can get advice, tips and help directly from more than 150 experts.
