SkyCell, Involi and Cysec are suporting organisations to achieve their missions, whether it is cutting back on CO2 emissions, achieving airspace safety and operational efficacy or secure satellite communications. The startup’s solution are being deployed in different parts of the world and space.

The partnership between SkyCell, the startup providing cutting-edge temperature-controlled hybrid containers for pharmaceutical logistics and Ivoclar Group aims to optimize reverse logistics processes to save up to 350 tons of CO2 emissions annually on transatlantic routes. Building on the success of their initial pilot launched in December 2023, the companies have extended their partnership to significantly reduce CO₂ emissions, minimize waste, and decrease overall costs. The new strategy eliminates empty return journeys by filling SkyCell containers with Ivoclar pallets for their return journey from the USA to Europe. This optimization – enabled through SkyCell’s logistics partners Fischer Road Cargo Group and DSV - Global Transport and Logistics – proves that even within existing frameworks innovative approaches can make a significant difference.

Tuzla Airport puts INVOLI solution into operation
Swiss start-ups are not only making aviation more sustainable, but also safer. Last week TUZLA airport announced the successful implementation and commencement of operations of the INVOLI/ANSART integrated air traffic management (ATM) system. Awarded in late 2023, this pivotal project was delivered in an impressive four-month timeframe, demonstrating the efficiency and dedication of all parties involved to enhance airspace safety and operational efficacy at one of Romania’s pivotal air traffic hubs.

As one of the largest regional airports in Romania, Tuzla offers a range of services from flight information to general aviation and helicopter operations, and is a critical hub for flying schools.

This collaboration comes on the heels of INVOLI and ANSART's recent partnership announcement, highlighting their commitment to revolutionizing local and regional airspace management. This new system at Tuzla Airport is proof of their innovative approach and strong value proposition, designed to support the Aerodrome Flight Information Service (AFIS) certification that Tuzla Airport is actively pursuing.

Secure communication in space
Cysec, a cybersecurity solutions provider, has joined forces with Thuraya Telecommunications Company (Thuraya), the mobile satellite services subsidiary of the UAE’s flagship satellite solutions provider, Al Yah Satellite Communications Company PJSC, to provide enhanced cybersecurity and encryption protection to its existing data service customer base. This partnership envisioned to be a game-changing solution for sectors that require safe, secure, and reliable data services protected from potential risk of loss. Under the agreement, Thuraya will now bundle CYSEC’s ARCA SATCOM solution as part of its existing data services plan, thereby enhancing its offerings for customers that require the highest level of cyber protection.

Specifically desgined for satellite data communications, ARCA SATCOM provides performance enhanced capabilities for data users by integrating cutting-edge encryption technologies. This feature fortifies Thuraya’s network, empowering seamless transmission and reception of encrypted data without compromising connectivity or performance. The offering of constant and uninterrupted connectivity is of critical importance to various entities including governments, remote enterprise establishments, core heavy industries, utilities communications, the military, and the overall deployment of secure IoT devices and services. The solution provides customers with flexible options to accommodate different use cases as its end-to-end encryption is based on international standards optimized for satellite networks.
