On's shoe collection for the 2012 running season

On, a start-up from Zurich, is launching a new competition shoe and a new entry model named Cloudster. In addition there are 2012 versions of its Cloudrunner and Cloudsurfer. All models have an active sole, a technology which has already earned international innovation awards.

On is launching the new “Cloudracer” competition shoe in time for the 2012 running season. With its ultra-light skeleton construction and its further optimization of the On active sole, the new shoe will make athletes even faster. The unique combination of light impact and explosive push-off, results in an exceptionally efficient running motion. The prototypes have been tested by leading athletes, such as David Hauss of France (medal contender Triathlon at the Olympic Games London), marathon runner Geoffrey Gikuni Ndungu of Kenya (best time: 2:08:33 in Dublin in 2011), Ironman professional triathlete Scott Neyedli of the UK, ITU professional triathlete Lawrence Fanous and marathon legend Tegla Loroupe of Kenya; and they have reported new personal bests with On’s new Cloudracer.
