TriVert is an IT platform that connects people and businesses in order to make recycling waste easier. Now, the Vaud-based startup received a grant of 20’000 Swiss francs from the FIT Foundation.

Some people do not have the means of transportation or the time to drive to depots or ecopoints in order to recycle their waste. The Startup TriVert has created a platform that connects people and makes it possible for them to pool their resources to make the trip to the depots or ecopoints together.

The platform launched in early July and will be tested in a pilot project in the municipalities Aubonne and Montherod in canton Vaud. «Our service will then be deployed in other municipalities in the Vaud and Geneva», explains founder Julien Demarcin in an interview with the FIT.

Now, the Vaud-based startup received a grant of 20’000 Swiss francs by FIT’s Digital program. «The grant has not only contributed to the development of our platform but also marketing expenses», says Demarcin.
