Alpine Intuition, which democratizes artificial intelligence for companies and Helvitek, which creates innovative anti-pollution masks, have each obtained a FIT Digital Grant loan of CHF 20,000 from the Foundation for Technological Innovation (FIT).

Based in Ecublens and co-founded by four EPFL graduates, Alpine Intuition is developing a tool for companies wishing to use artificial intelligence (AI) solutions. For SMEs, developing one’s own solution is complex, expensive and uncertain. Alpine Intuition has developed “Isquare”, a site offering various business-ready AI software for companies, in different fields (facial recognition, images, custom language, intelligent agents). FIT’s support will allow Alpine Intuition to finalize the alpha version of its platform for its first customers (improving the user experience, the customer interface, the back-end of the platform).

Also based in Ecublens, Helvitek manufactures innovative anti-pollution masks. Its technology combines image analysis and machine learning that allow from a photo, to provide a mask that perfectly adopts the client’s morphology. Helvitek won in May the 8th Edition of the START Competition. The market for anti-pollution masks is estimated at 3.9 billion francs by 2022. FIT’s support will enable Helvitek to finalize the interface of its website, to perform a first categorization of its users, and to produce a first set of masks.
