Collaborating with established organizations unlocks a world of possibilities, valuable resources, and extensive networks that empower startups to expedite the development of their solutions. Recently, three startups have formalized new partnership agreements with companies such as Ericsson to demonstrate the reduced threat of wildfire with 5G technology, to create a cookieless environment and to explore clinical research applications to accelerate personalized diagnostics.

Decentriq, a leading provider of data clean room solutions, has entered into a commercial agreement with ERIS, the Data Marketing unit of Publicis Groupe Spain, to offer a robust solution in the cookieless environment. This strategic partnership aims to empower Publicis Groupe's clients in their data strategies and enhance their data-driven advertising activation in a secure and controlled environment, all while prioritizing privacy. The agreement represents a significant milestone in the pursuit of more effective and secure marketing in an increasingly privacy-focused landscape, particularly with the phasing out of third-party cookies. Through this collaboration, Publicis' advertisers will gain access to an Intuitive Interface for streamlined marketing workflows, enhanced privacy protection and control, as well as new data enrichment opportunities for ERIS Clients. Additionally, the partnership will enable ERIS to leverage Decentriq's analytical flexibility to bring Publicis’ data science expertise to life with first-party data, including advanced modeling and AI lookalikes.

Zaphiro Technologies, a Swiss company specializing in smart grid monitoring and control, has formed a strategic alliance with Ericsson, a global leader in 5G technology, to showcase innovative solutions for the electric utility industry. This partnership will integrate Zaphiro's synchrophasors and phasor measurement units (PMU) technology, used in medium voltage distribution networks, with Ericsson's 4G and 5G Mission Critical Networks solution. The integration will provide real-time situational awareness of power system dynamics, enabling advanced protection and control schemes that can detect and locate faults faster than traditional distribution protection schemes. Ericsson's 5G technology will enhance the performance and scalability of synchrophasor-based solutions by enabling faster data transmission, wider coverage, and better security for electrical power grids. Together, Zaphiro and Ericsson aim to demonstrate the reduced threat of wildfires with their joint innovative solution, leveraging their complementary expertise and technologies to improve grid reliability, efficiency, and resilience.

Navignostics, a startup founded in 2022 with a focus on revolutionizing personalized diagnostics for cancer patients, has forged a strategic partnership with Standard BioTools Inc., a listed company dedicated to accelerating breakthroughs in human health. This collaboration aims to develop clinical research applications and service offerings using the Hyperion XTi Imaging System. The purpose-built system is designed to generate critical biological insights to inform clinical outcomes, providing an opportunity to expand access to high-quality data in clinical research. As part of the agreement, Standard BioTools will support the development of Navignostics assays by collaborating on various aspects of protocols and instrument and software features. Additionally, both companies plan to co-publish and present their learnings at scientific conferences in the coming year to advance the science of IMC.
