Top 100 Award ceremony

It is once again the time of the year when everyone waits in anticipation to find out who Switzerland’s TOP 100 startups are. The upcoming Award ceremony on 4th September awaits 700 visitors including 60 international investors that will convene to celebrate the winners. Startupticker is giving away five free tickets. Update: Sorry, the tickets are gone.

The TOP 100 Swiss Startup Award is the yearly reference event where the most promising Swiss startup CEOs, investors, and corporate executives gain deep insights into the latest proven concepts, network and establish new business relationships. Since 2011, a top-notch jury comprising 100 investors and industry experts has been nominating the most promising Swiss startups with the highest growth potential. Also, this year, the jury has made their decision.

During the upcoming award ceremony on 4th September, the TOP 100 Swiss Startups will be unveiled. The award ceremony will also present the winner of the Public Voting award and the TOP 10 startups. Additionally, ten selected newcomers will pitch to the audience. During the day handpicked investors will have the opportunity to participate in the TOP 100 Swiss Investor Summit to discover the most promising startups. Like the previous year, the current edition of the TOP 100 Magazines in English, German, French and Chinese will be launched.

The event awaits 700 participants including startups, investors, corporates, media and supporters who will convene in Zurich to witness the awarding of the most innovative Swiss startups as well as meet like-minded people. A part of the audience is 60 international investors coming from Silicon Valley, China, Germany, Italy, France, Austria and the UK.

Commenting on the Swiss startup Scene, Christian Siegele from Capnamic Ventures who attended last year’s event said, “There is a lot of international talent in startups here. It’s a good foundation for starting a company. We are looking to invest in Swiss startups more and more.”

Christian G. Nagel from Earlybird Venture Capital also acknowledged that there is a great technology base coming out of Swiss universities. “I’m here to learn about the next technologies and find investment opportunities,” he said.
