Amplo's Team

Founded in 2020 Amplo's mission is to provide unprecedented insights into the health and performance of machines by eliminating archaic manual workflows in the field.  The proceeds from the pre-seed round will enable the No-code AI startup to advance its solution for industrial companies.

Swiss-based Session.VC led the round, supported by Silicon Valley firm FYRFLY Venture Partners who will help accelerate the startup's growth in the US, and Backbone Ventures, a swiss- & german VC. The funds will boost the startup's product development and expansion strategy. Amplo today employs seven people.

“Leveraging the value of machine data is still a huge challenge in today's industry, while data science talent is scarce. This is why we are excited to back the talented Amplo team on their mission to change the way machine maintenance works thanks to artificial intelligence (AI),” said Jeremias Meier, Partner at Session.vc. “Amplo’s founding team combines relevant industry and startup experience with a great passion for the digitalization of the machinery industry”, he adds.

The zero-code Amplo platform - powered by machine learning and domain expertise - automates and streamlines machine operations and maintenance processes. It combines machine data, domain knowledge and historical service data into one single intuitive tool, underpinned by the latest data security standards. SMEs and large enterprise companies can configure and build their own, unique AI models and integrate Amplo with ERP and ticketing systems.

Amplo can save up to 90% of the remote diagnostics cost with AI. A company could save millions a year while allowing its service operations team to scale by augmenting their workflow with AI and gaining insights into overall operations and maintenance activities.

Amplo has been a trusted partner for companies worldwide including Steinemann Technology, Tritium, Beckhoff and started innovative projects such as the collaboration with Küffer Elektrotechnik, the main maintenance services provider for electrical drives.

“Data Science and digitization experts are scarce and expensive,“ said Oliver Keel, co-founder and CEO of Amplo. “Our platform enables service and operation managers of SMEs to easily connect and manage their machines to provide lean maintenance scheduling and high-quality operations.”

“We’re looking forward to seeing Amplo grow and will support them to conquer the US market. Amplo has managed to win international customers such as Tritium very early on which impressed us. In the US industrial machines are usually already connected to the cloud which will lower the entry barrier for Amplo. Julie Maples from Fyrfly.vc says.
