Hack'n'Lead, Switzerland's first women-friendly hackathon launches the second edition from 2nd - 3rd November 2019.
The aim of launching the Hack ‘n’ Lead Hackathon was to bring together tech and business experts with the aim of increasing diversity in tech. The first hackathon last year attracted 200 applications. 45 mentors and 16 companies joined the program. 84% of the participants were women while only 16% were men.
To build on this success the organizing team has launched the second edition. This year from 2nd - 3rd November 2019, women and men come together to learn, be inspired and become part of a growing tech community while building real products in the process.
In addition to receiving guidance from experienced mentors, preparation space and attending events, participants that have children will also receive childcare in which children above the age of 4 can attend the coding for kids program.
